Office of the Forensic Science Regulator - Opportunity for comment on FSA INC 101 Collision Investigation

The Forensic Science Regulator has asked us to circulate a survey document document regarding the potential restructure of Forensic Science Activity [FSA] INC 101 relating to UK collision investigation.

Our Patron, Baroness McIntosh of Pickering, is introducing a private members bill to Parliament the "Road Traffic Offences (Cycling) Bill" - Click < HERE > to view a copy. 

The bill includes a new offence of 'Causing death or serious injury by dangerous, careless or inconsiderate cycling'.

Royal Cayman Islands Police Service - Forensic Collision Investigator

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service are looking for a full-time Forensic Collision Investigator within their Collision Investigation Unit based in George Town, Grand Cayman.

The Collision Investigation Unit is part of the Road Policing Unit under Operational Support. The successful candidate will, therefore, be required to work across all three islands that make up the Cayman Islands at times. However, the majority of the time will be based on Grand Cayman.

The Collision Investigation Unit is responsible for the in-depth investigation into the causes of fatal and serious injury road traffic collisions. The unit will also be employed in any other arena where its skills and abilities will assist other departments or add value to investigations.

Salary - Grade K, Point 8: CI$69,369.00 per annum with no income tax to pay and with additional benefits
